5 star install and service. I had VEO install a tankless hot water heater and new 320 gallon propane tank in February 2017 and I am so glad I chose VEO! They showed up promptly and began work immediately. They were very organized and did the job clean and perfect. We decided to have our entire oil-based heating system removed from the house and replaced with a cleaner, high-efficiency propane-based system. We also wanted to replace our 80 gallon hot water heater and have it extracted from the basement. We spoke with four different contractors, but decided to go with VEO. Actually, we were existing VEO customers for years, but we wanted to do our due diligence with such a big project. Our decision was made easy by the way the owner of the company personally got involved to "win back our business." Not to mention, they are local and their employees are very talented, polite and work very quickly. The best part was that the quote for the entire job was lower than we expected. I would definitely recommend VEO for your heating oil or propane needs. They are up to the job, accessible when you need them, and you won't be disappointed in the quality of their work.

It was time for the annual tune-up of our boiler, and the team from VEO came through once again. We appreciated the reminder call a day ahead, then a quick call from the techs as they were headed to the house. And Jimmy and Tommy were polite, professional, and all-around good guys. So pleased with the level of service that was provided to us today when getting our fuel tank swapped out. Sabrina in the office took the service call and delivered even faster than promised. We have been customers of VEO for several years and have been very pleased. Recently they went above and beyond for our family. This isn’t how we planned it but we needed an old dryer disconnected and new one hooked up just as social distancing became a necessity. When Home Depot failed to take responsibility for errors in our order, VEO was here to ensure that our new appliances were given to us and safely installed. Highly recommend VEO!! I was referred to them by a relative and so glad I called! From the initial call it’s been a pleasure to deal with every person I’ve been in touch with. I am especially pleased with Mike , he was the first person I met when he came out for the site visit. He is very attentive to all my questions and is absolutely a very knowledgeable person in the industry. Then the installation of my propane tank by very personable and knowledgeable guys!! VEO was able to install a safe new tank to my home within a couple days of my first inquiry.
The same day I called, the propane manager was here to look over and approve the job.
And the techs were here just one day later.

You can definitely tell they’re a family owned business by the level of customer service they offer. I was burned by a big national company that didn’t care about me or my family at all...they just wanted my money.

I’m glad so far that I switched and I know the relationship with be great going forward.

Jimmy and Paul installed a propane tank, checked the integrity of the Vermont propane stove and checked the fuel line found secure with no possible leaks. I was needing a way to turn it on and off so they installed a thermostat which they saw the stove needed since when I moved into the house the thermostat had been removed. Jimmy and Paul were very knowledgeable, polite and professional. I was amazed at how well they set everything up and they represented the VEO company very well. I am very pleased with their work and the company.

Excellent Company with Great Customer Service and rates. I recently switched my accounts over to VEO and each transaction was smooth and efficient. I should have switched to VEO years ago. There is a level of comfort knowing the company has employees like Michael Jimmy and Paul who went the extra mile to assure all heating units were running when the new tanks were installed. I have learned to appreciate this more since our previous supplier didn't do this and it ended up costing us a lot of time, aggravation and money. We would like to “shout out” another thank you to your very fine technician Kyle. He responded promptly, both by telephone and in person, to our call for emergency service last evening when we suddenly discovered that we did not have heat or hot water.

Kyle was personable and courteous. He listened to the description of our problem, applied his knowledge about electrical and heating systems, familiarized himself with the particulars of our furnace and thanks to his skills, we were able to enjoy heat and hot water once again!

Thank you for your very prompt service on Tuesday. Heating oil was delivered by 9am and the technician was here very shortly afterwards to check out the furnace-Thank goodness since the condenser needed to be replaced. The first time VEO serviced my furnace I was shocked. They didn’t just vacuum it, they actually replaced dirty nozzles and calibrated if for efficiency so I used as little oil as possible. I made a joke to the tech about how using less oil can’t be good for them and he said “good service is good for us”! They have done the same annually for five years now.

Your motto "Warmth Without Worry" reflects the concern you have for your customers. This is especially true of Patrick McGar, a technician in your employ. About a year ago, Patrick appeared at my home, late at night to resolve a frozen pipes situation. He worked laboriously to alleviate the situation. He did so without complaint and with the utmost of courtesy and professionalism.

People like Patrick with these attributes are rare and special. He exudes a value system that is impeccable. He should be commended for his loyalty to VEO.

Dear Eli,

About 2 weeks ago, I discovered a slight puddle of oil underneath the tank. I notified your company and a short time later, your Service Dept. Supervisor Patrick responded to my location. I explained the problem, and offered the theory that the leak might be from the oil feed line to the boiler. Upon getting under the boiler, Patrick gave me the bad news--the leak was from the tank itself!

From the moment the diagnosis was made, the actions of Patrick and the rest of your service team was immediate and commendable.

That same afternoon Patrick and Roger carefully maneuvered the tank out of the closet, without having to remove a wall, as I feared they might have to. They then installed the new tank with ease, again without any collateral damage. Roger hooked up a temporary line, and returned to ensure I would not be left without oil until the permanent hookup was made.

Roger and Jason returned and completed the job. During each step, I greatly benefited from all of their great knowledge, so that not the smallest detail was forgotten.In addition, it was all done with the greatest degree of true workmanship and cleanliness, AND courtesy! Having been a longtime customer of your company, all this is not unusual to expect from your staff, but it is VERY unusual to expect at all in today's environment of greed, discourtesy, and general apathy.

This message is to express my appreciation, and kudos to your staff and to YOU for encouraging such professionalism. These guys are KEEPERS. Thank you!
